How do I set auto-recording in Prama NVR and DVR?

Efficiently managing surveillance recordings is paramount for security. With Prama DVR and NVR systems, this task is effortlessly streamlined through the overwrite function. This feature ensures that when the hard disk reaches full capacity and old recording files are not locked, they are gradually overwritten by new recordings, enabling uninterrupted recording without manual intervention.

The overwrite function is a key feature of Prama DVR and NVR systems, providing users with peace of mind knowing that their surveillance footage is always up-to-date. This function works by automatically deleting old recordings to make room for new ones when the HDD reaches its storage capacity. This ensures that the system never stops recording, even when the HDD is full, ensuring that no critical moments are missed.

One of the main advantages of the overwrite function is its ability to save storage space. By automatically deleting old recordings, the system optimizes storage capacity, ensuring that there is always space available for new recordings. This is particularly useful in high-traffic areas where continuous recording is necessary, such as retail stores, parking lots, roads, and office buildings.

Another benefit of the overwrite function is that it is easy to use. With this feature enabled, users no longer have to worry about manually deleting old recordings to free up space. The system takes care of this automatically, saving time and effort for users. Additionally, the overwrite function helps to prevent the loss of important footage by ensuring that the system is always recording, even when the HDD is full.

The overwrite function is easy to set up and configure. Users can enable this feature through the settings or configuration menu of their Prama DVR or NVR system. Once enabled, the system will automatically manage recordings, ensuring that old files are overwritten by new ones when necessary.
