Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set up motion detection recording on your CCTV recorder:
Step 1: Set the Record Schedule to Motion Detection
1. Navigate to the Device Menu: On your CCTV recorder, access the device menu. This is typically found in the settings or configuration section.
2. Access the Record Settings: Within the device menu, locate the record settings. This is where you can set the schedule for recording.
3. Set Schedule to Motion Recording: Look for an option to set the schedule to motion recording. Enable this option and set the schedule to your preference. You can choose to copy these settings to the entire week and other channels if needed.
Step 2: Configuration of Alarm setting in Motion Detection
1. Navigate to the Device Menu: Return to the device menu if you have exited it.
2. Access the Event Settings: Locate the event settings within the device menu. This is where you can configure the alarm for motion detection.
3. Enable Motion Detection: Click on the option to enable motion detection. This will allow your CCTV system to detect motion and trigger recording.
4. Draw Detection Areas: Use your mouse to draw detection areas on the video feed. These are the areas where motion will trigger recording. You can adjust the sensitivity to make the detection more or less sensitive.

2. Navigate to Trigger Channels: Look for an option related to trigger channels. This is where you can select the recording channels that need to be triggered when motion is detected.
3. Select Recording Channels: Typically, you only need to trigger the channel that corresponds to the channel where motion is detected. For example, if motion is detected on channel 1, only trigger channel 1 for recording.
Step 4: Configure Arming Schedule
1. Access Settings: Return to the settings section of your CCTV recorder.
2. Navigate to Arming Schedule: Look for an option related to arming schedule. This is where you can select the time to trigger recording or the time period for motion detection.
3. Set Time Period: If you do not set a specific time period, the default is typically 24 hours a day trigger. Adjust the time period according to your needs.
